Workchain is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our temporary roster in Westbury. This days-based role offers competitive pay of £17-£19 per hour and is ideal for a dependable driver looking for steady local work.

You will operate HIAB equipment for loading and unloading, deliver and collect building materials on schedule, conduct safety checks, and complete delivery paperwork while maintaining high service standards at each location.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence required.
• HIAB experience and safe operation knowledge.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally.
• Operate HIAB equipment for loading and unloading.
• Deliver and collect materials in line with schedules.
• Secure loads correctly and complete vehicle safety checks.
• Carry out delivery paperwork and report any issues promptly.
• Follow site, road and company health and safety procedures.
• Provide a helpful and professional service at delivery locations.
