Job summary

Driver Hire Carlisle is recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) on a long‑term basis with our client in the Cockermouth area, with a view to a temp‑perm after 12 weeks.

Role involves operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle and delivering catering supplies to commercial premises. Start times from 02:30am–06:00am; overtime after 8 hours; average shift length 10–12 hours.

Immediate starts available; represent both client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicle and deliver catering supplies to premises.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain safety standards.
• Adhere to start times and overtime policies.
• Represent client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally.
• Work 5 out of 6 days with Saturday work.

• 5 out of 6 days
• Saturday are required
• Start times from 02:30am-06:00am
