Job Overview

Pure Staff has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Class 2 Driver interested in day shifts in Thetford. Immediate start available.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday: £14ph. Please note, this rate does not include holiday pay, which is paid separately when booked.

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

About Us

Pure Staff specialises in recruiting HGV drivers with clients across the Midlands and Southwest. We offer flexible work tailored to drivers' needs and lifestyles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bakery racks to stores
• Assist with loading and unloading, including handballing
• Operate tail lift vehicles (essential experience)
• Work 5 days out of 7, including weekends
• Perform daily vehicle checks
• Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers
• Complete assessments prior to work
• Wear PPE (safety boots and hi-vis) at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Class 2 HGV license
• At least 2 years of experience
• Valid CPC
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Shift Details

Start times between 4am and 7am for day shifts. Shifts can be long, up to 10-12 hours, in accordance with tachograph law.
