Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing work at a Severn Beach depot (BS35). The role offers fixed rotas and a 48-hour week across four 12-hour shifts, with 12 hours pay guaranteed per shift.

Overtime is available on the 5th shift at £25.70 per hour, and bank holidays are paid at the same rate. Start times vary 05:00–09:00 or 17:00–21:00, with weekly pay and potential permanent status.

Qualifications

• UK Class 2 driving licence and Full CPC.
• Digi card” and driving assessment completed prior to starting.
• No more than 3 points on licence.
• 6 months of experience in a similar role.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily vehicle checks.
• Multi-drop delivery service – between 4 and 7 drops daily.
• Use a Zebra device to record deliveries during shift.
• Some heavy lifting and loading onto dollies and cages.

HGV Class 2 drivers required for ongoing with potential to be taken on permanent, work based from a depot in Severn Beach, BS35.

This role offers excellent work-life balance, as the rota is fixed in advance, and you will be allocated 5 days off in a row once a month!

• £42,756 per annum
• 48 hours per week - 4 x 12 hour shifts
• 12 hours payment guaranteed per shift
• 5thshift available as overtime - £25.70 per hour
• Bank holidays paid at £25.70 per hour
• Day or Night shifts available
• Start times day vary from 05:00 - 09:00 or 17:00 - 21:00
