Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for an ongoing Class 2 Flatbed Driver to join our client based in the BL2 area. This role offers regular Monday to Friday work with an early start and no weekend shifts.

You will drive a Class 2 flatbed vehicle, make multi-drop deliveries of steel, pipes and fittings, and secure loads. A valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required; prior flatbed experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full, valid Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving a flatbed is preferred.
• Experience with strapping and securing loads is essential.
• Knowledge of safe loading/unloading procedures.
• Reliable, safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 flatbed vehicle.
• Multi-drop deliveries of steel, pipes and fittings.
• Strap and secure loads safely.
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure deliveries are on time.
• Deal professionally with customers at delivery locations.
• Work Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00.

Location: Depot based in the BL2 area

Start Time: 07:00

Pay: £15.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday - no weekends

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an ongoing Class 2 Flatbed Driver to join our client based in the BL2 area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work with an early start and no weekend shifts.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 flatbed vehicle
• Multi-drop deliveries of steel, pipes and fittings
• Strapping and securing loads safely and correctly
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on timeDealing professionally with customers at delivery locations
• Working Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00

Requirements

• Full, valid Class 2 driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience driving a flatbed is preferred
• Experience with strapping and securing loads is essential
• Good knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures
