Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver for a leading client in Port Talbot.

You’ll operate vacuum tankers and JetVac units as part of a small team of 3–5 operatives, with full training provided. The role involves occasional overnight stays away from home and offers permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid ADR licence.
• CCNSG Site Safety Passport or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexible and committed approach to work.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work away from home when required.
• Experience with vacuum tanker or JetVac is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 HGVs, including vacuum tankers and JetVac units.
• Carry out vacuum tanker and JetVac services safely and efficiently.
• Work as part of a small team to complete site operations.
• Complete daily vehicle defect checks and report issues or near misses.
• Follow site safety procedures, risk assessments and required documentation.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and maintain high standards of attention to detail.
• Support wider site operations when required.

You’ll operate vacuum tankers and jetting units, providing essential site services as part of a small team of 3–5 operatives. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The role involves occasional overnight stays away from home, with subsistence and travel time paid. There is also an opportunity for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.
