Job Opportunity: HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) in Plymouth

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of a well-known, industry-leading client located in Plymouth. We are seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (Category C) to join our team.

Shifts: Monday to Sunday, including weekends

Hours: 01:00-04:00 starts

Location: Plymouth, PL6

Job Type: Ongoing, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate

The Role:

1. Transporting palletised parcels securely to and from depots and delivery points.
2. Managing runs with 1-5 stops, emphasizing safe driving and accurate paperwork.
3. Using tail lift and pump truck for loading and unloading.
4. Interacting professionally with customers and representing the company.
5. Unloading the vehicle and refueling at shift end.
6. Completing safety and operational assessments, followed by paid training if successful.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
• Willingness to undertake a driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset.
