Job summary

Jewson Minehead is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 driver to join our delivery team. You will load, transport and unload building materials to customers, using a HIAB where required, and maintain a professional and friendly approach on every drop.

The role offers training at our academy, a social hours pattern, and generous holiday and pension schemes as part of STARK Building Materials UK. A fair, varied, and customer‑facing role awaits.

Qualifications

• We require a valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence and CPC card.
• Digi Tachograph card is essential.
• Multidrop experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers on defined routes.
• Load and unload goods and operate the HIAB crane when required.
• Maintain professional, friendly interactions with customers.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
