Job summary

Jewson Clevedon is seeking a HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team. You will safely deliver building materials to customers, handle loading and unloading, operate the crane, and support colleagues on a highly varied daily route.

We provide a fully funded induction at our training academy, ALLMI crane licence, 34 days’ holiday (buy up to 3 days), pension, life assurance, staff discounts, CPC training and real opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence and CPC required.
• Digi Tachograph card required.
• Multi-drop experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers.
• Load and unload goods and operate the HIAB crane.
• Support team members as needed on a varied daily route.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence


• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card


• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
