Job summary

Pertemps Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent HGV Class 2 Driver in Aston, Birmingham. The role offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work and a strong work-life balance.

Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries of building materials, no handball, with forklift loading/unloading at points of delivery. A permanent role from day one with TOIL provisions is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence (Category C) and Driver CPC.
• Excellent knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport legislation.
• Minimum of 5 years' Class 2 driving experience is ESSENTIAL.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Permanent

Location: Aston, Birmingham

Salary: £33,000 per annum (£16.92 per hour)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 (37.5 hours per week)

Pertemps Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team on a straight permanent basis in Aston, Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver seeking a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with no weekend working and a great work-life balance.

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries of building materials throughout the Greater Midlands area
• No handball - forklift loading and unloading at delivery points
• Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
• 37.5-hour working week
• Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) provided for hours worked over 40 per week
• Permanent position from day one

Salary & Benefits

• £33,000 per annum
• Equivalent to £16.92 per hour

Essential Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude

Desirable

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
