Are you a skilled and experienced HGV Driver looking for an exciting opportunity in the Waste / Recycling industry? Our client, a leading organisation in the sector, is seeking a dedicated HGV Driver to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Heavy Goods Refuse Collection Vehicles for recycling and waste collection and disposal
• Lead and direct a team of loaders to deliver exceptional recycling and waste services
• Ensure a professional, high-quality service is provided to residents and customers
• Adapt to changing demands and strive to exceed industry standards
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Complete relevant daily checks, record information accurately, and report any issues to the line manager
• Provide assistance and information to residents and customers regarding waste disposal
• Comply with all legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to the work activity

Requirements:

• Valid Category C driving licence, valid Digi tachograph card
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships
• Self-motivated and able to represent the organisation professionally
• Strong commitment to customer care and equalities and diversity policies
