Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a daytime temporary role in Leicester. You will safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, complete deliveries and collections across the local area and UK, and assist with loading and unloading palletised goods.

The role requires current Cat C entitlement, Driver CPC, tachograph card and a reliable, punctual approach with strong customer service skills. You will report vehicle faults and adhere to safety and transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C entitlement on a UK licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of safe loading and vehicle checks.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Physically able to assist with loading and unloading duties.
• Good understanding of UK roads and delivery procedures.
