Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Enfield area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday.

Pay Rate:

1. Days: £14.76 per hour PAYE.
2. Nights: £15.92 per hour PAYE.

Location: Enfield, EN3

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

1. Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance.
2. Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
3. Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
4. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
5. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

1. Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
2. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
3. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
4. Full understanding of WTD legislation.
5. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. A safety-first mindset.
