Job description

We are currently seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver for our client, a Fine Art Transport Company located in London.

As the HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and pick up of fine art goods for throughout the UK.You will be moving and handling high-end goods (physical lifting/ handling, loading & unloading).

Other duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver:

• General driving duties, observing legal / best practice of delivering and collecting
• Liaise with Office staff to ensure smooth delivery
• Ensuring vehicle loads are safe / damage free and secured with the appropriate restraints
• Any ad hoc duties as requested by management

The successful HGV Class 2 Driver will have experience working as a HGV Class 2 Driver within either the Fine Art sector or transferable experience of Shipping / Packing / Installation / Storage.

We are keen to speak with candidates who hold a full HGV Class 2 or Class 1 licence, have a valid Drivers CPC and ideally, experience driving a Category C vehicle.

You will ideally have some experience properly handling high-end goods.
