Job summary

Cottrell Moore Ltd in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, is looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our delivery team. You will help ensure ready-mixed concrete reaches customers safely and on time, with a focus on safety and customer care.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, comply with safety regulations, and complete delivery paperwork. CPC training and local knowledge of East Anglia are valued and supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 Licence and CPC Driver Qualification Card.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Familiarity with East Anglia is a bonus.
• Willingness to learn and support various duties across the business.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver ready-mixed concrete to a variety of locations across Suffolk.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain your truck.
• Follow all safety regulations and driving legislation.
• Complete delivery paperwork with accuracy.
• Support the Plant Supervisor when needed.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Salary: £14.34 per hour, plus an overtime rate of £19.07

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday (including paid breaks)

This is an exciting opportunity for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join an established and independent concrete supplier in the Eastern Region.

As HGV Class 2 Driver you'll be a key part of the delivery team ensuring high quality ready‑mixed concrete reaches our customers safely and on time.
