Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking Class 2 Drivers for a busy distribution operation based at Willand, Cullompton. You will perform multi‑drop deliveries, perform vehicle checks, and ensure goods are loaded/unloaded safely on a full‑time or part‑time basis.

Shifts are typically 05:30–06:30 start, with 10–12 hour days, regular assignments, a pension scheme and ongoing support from the team. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• CPC and digital tachograph card must be held.
• Curtain sided vehicle experience is desirable.
• Recent multi‑drop or similar driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries across local routes.
• Conduct vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Load and unload goods safely and accurately.
• Adhere to driving hours, tachograph and WTD regulations.
• Maintain communications with transport team and customers.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records.

HG Recruitment are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a busy, fast-paced distribution operation based at Hitchcocks Business Park, Willand, Cullompton, EX15 3FA

This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 2 Drivers looking for ongoing work with regular shifts and excellent earning potential.

Pay Rates: Holiday Accrued

£18.00 - £20.00 per hour

Working Pattern

• Monday-Friday
• Ongoing work available
• Full-time and Part Time | Temp to Perm
• Start times between 05:30 am 06:30 am
• Average shift length 10-12hrs

The role

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries across local routes.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring accuracy and care of all items.
• Adhere to driving hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain excellent communication with the transport team and customers.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

You must have:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Curtain sided vehicle experience desired
• Recent experience in multi-drop or similar driving roles preferred.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and strong customer service skills.
