Job Opportunity: HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) in Coventry

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known, industry-leading client based in Coventry. We are seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join our team.

Details:

1. Hours: Monday-Sunday, 5 out of 7 shifts, including weekends.
2. Location: Coventry, CV3.
3. Job Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Role Responsibilities:

• Safely handle and transport palletised packages to sub depots.
• Maintain safe driving practices and complete accurate documentation.
• Typically perform 1 to 2 runs per day.
• Assist with loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Engage professionally with customers, representing the company positively.

Candidate Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Proven experience driving similar vehicles.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset.
