Connect Driver Solutions have an opportunity for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Edinburgh based client - a leading distributor of household furniture.

Working as a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for manual lifting and handballing, including:

• Safely unloading the vehicle at client addresses
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Assisting to plan delivery routes and schedules
• Driving a class 2 vehicle
• Logging delivery information correctly
• Staying aware of any route diversions or updates to your delivery journey

The successful HGV Class 2 Driver will have:

• A valid class 2 driving licence
• A minimum of 6 months' driving experience
• Able to drive safely during busy traffic periods, in adverse weather conditions or at night
• A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
