First Call Aviation Job Opportunity: HGV Driver

Note: This is a seasonal contract!

Start Date: ASAP

Shift Patterns: Day/Night shifts available, 4 days on, 4 days off, with hours from 18:00-05:30 / 06:00-18:00 (shift hours may vary)

Location

Bristol Airport, Avonside Industrial Estate, Avonside Road, Bristol, BS2 0TS

Main Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV 15-18 tonne vehicles in a controlled environment
• Perform vehicle checks prior to use
• Load and unload catering supplies for aircraft
• Coordinate with flight crews and ground handling teams
• Keep the vehicle clean and tidy
• Comply with Road Traffic Acts and Airport regulations
• Assist with warehouse duties, including packing, search, and sealing, along with related paperwork

Candidate Requirements

• Valid, clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points considered)
• Digital Tachograph knowledge and card
• Driver CPC qualification
• Experience with HGV driving, airport airside driving experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
