Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and flexibletemporary opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver with our client in Bournemouth.

Position:HGV Class 2 Driver

Days:Monday-Friday (flexible)

Start time:07:00 AM (night trunk shifts are also available, 18:00 start)

Location:Bournemouth

Pay Rate:£16.25 (basic) £18.21 (nights) £20.17 (weekends). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.

As a HGV Driver you MUST have:

• a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial experience
• a valid UK Class 2 HGV driving licence
• a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
• your own transport to get to and from work

As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers

This position is commutable from Andover, Salisbury, Southampton and other areas close to Bournemouth.
