Job summary

Workchain in Pershore, Worcestershire is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to carry out night-time deliveries from the Pershore area. You will be responsible for multi-drop routes safely and efficiently, while providing a professional service at each delivery point.

You must have a valid HGV Class 2 licence and experience with temperature-controlled freight. This is a permanent night-shift role with local, Pershore-based opportunity and regular pay.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required and fridge/temperature-controlled delivery experience.
• Proven ability to complete multi-drop routes and deliver to retail stores.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently at night.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle on night shifts.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries with 10+ drops per route.
• Load/unload using handball and operate a tail lift safely.
• Fulfill delivery paperwork and site procedures.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report issues promptly.
• Maintain safety and professional service at all times.

The role

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to complete night-time deliveries from the Pershore area. You will be responsible for carrying out multi-drop routes safely and efficiently, while providing a professional service at each delivery point.

Key responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle on night shifts
• Completing multi-drop deliveries, including more than 10 drops per route
• Delivering to retail stores
• Handling chilled or temperature-controlled freight
• Loading and unloading goods using handball methods
• Operating a tail lift safely
• Completing delivery paperwork and following site procedures
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly
• Working safely and responsibly at all times

Skills and qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
• Previous experience in fridge work or temperature-controlled deliveries
• Experience completing multi-drop routes
