Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver for night shifts in Lutterworth. You will handle multi-drop deliveries using 18-tonne rigid vehicles, with loading and unloading as part of the role. Full training with handheld scanners will be provided.

Starting times range from 7:00pm to 12:00am, offering ongoing temporary employment with 2 positions available. Candidates must hold a valid Class 2 licence and a tachograph card, and be punctual and safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Digital tachograph card.
• HGV driving experience.
• Multi-drop experience would be an advantage.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable with loading and unloading.
• Available to work night shifts.

Class 2 HGV Driver - Night Shift

Location: Lutterworth
Pay: £17.20 per hour
Shift: Nights
Position: Temporary - Ongoing
Positions Available: 2

We are currently looking for 2 reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team in Lutterworth on an ongoing temporary basis.

The role involves completing multi-drop deliveries using 18-tonne rigid vehicles. You will be required to load and unload your vehicle as part of the role.

The Role

• Night shifts with start times between 7:00pm and 12:00am
• Multi-drop deliveries using 18-tonne rigid vehicles
• Loading and unloading goods
• Completing vehicle checks
• Using handheld scanners to record deliveries and collections
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time

Training Provided
You will be required to use handheld scanners throughout the role.
Full training will be provided, so previous experience using the specific scanning system is not essential.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
