HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver, Newton Abbot

Job Overview: We are recruiting an HGV Class 2 driver for our client in Newton Abbot. This role is suitable for newly qualified drivers, offering a salary of £32,868 per annum plus a monthly bonus scheme. We seek reliable drivers committed to safety and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled delivery assignments efficiently.
• Ensure vehicle safety and load security before departure.
• Accurately complete all delivery documentation.
• Manage payments and provide excellent customer service.
• Deposit collected payments at the end of each shift.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations and vehicle security protocols.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager.
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including picking and loading.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid Category C driving license.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DR, DD, or IN convictions.
• Physically capable of lifting goods and entering/exiting the vehicle.
• Reliable personal transport.
