Job summary

A leading company in logistics, Bluestones Supply Chain, is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers for their client in Lanark. The role involves driving a Class 2 vehicle, making deliveries, and maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. This position offers a competitive pay rate of £16 per hour with Monday to Friday shifts starting at 6am. Candidates with a valid Class 2 Licence and a commitment to excellence in delivery services are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of recent Class 2 experience preferred.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time directive.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN endorsements).

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle (rigid) in line with DVSA and company regulations
• Multi-drop or bulk deliveries depending on client requirements
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Maintaining H&S and cleanliness standards at all times

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho Card
• Minimum 6 months of recent Class 2 experience preferred (but new passes are accepted)
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time directive
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN endorsements)
