Job description

Role: HGV Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver
Salary: 16.81 per hour including holiday pay ( 15.00 with accrued holiday pay)
Location: East/Central Manchester
Work Pattern: Full time, contract, temporary, or part-time to suit

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 mixer Driver for a well-established company based in Manchester East/Central Manchester.

The successful Class 2 Driver will need to be enthusiastic, reliable, Start time is 07:00 am to approx. 16:00 with some overtime.

HGV Class 2 Mixer Driver responsibilities:

• Operate Concrete Mixer in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before departure.
• Load and unload cement securely at various work sites both private and commercial.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Follow all company policies regarding safety, compliance, and customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with basic maintenance of the lorry as needed, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

HGV Class 2 Mixer Driver requirements:

• MPQC card Required
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Full UK Driving licence, held for 1 year
• Cat-C Licence (HGV Class 2)
