Job Description:

HGV Class 2 - Broxburn - Seasonal

First Call Aviation is excited to recruit for the world's largest independent provider of catering services for airlines.

As a driver, you are responsible for the safe delivery of our high-quality products from the unit (Edinburgh) to the airport.

This is a seasonal role until the end of October.

Main Duties of the HGV Driver

  • Driving HGV 15 - 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environment
  • Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use
  • Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft
  • Liaison with flight crew and collaboration with other ground handling suppliers
  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and tidiness
  • Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and Airport By-laws
  • Additional duties such as bar and stores packing or search and sealing, along with associated paperwork
  • Additional warehouse duties as required

Requirements of the HGV Driver:

  • Valid, clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points considered)
  • Digital Tachograph knowledge and card
  • Previous HGV experience preferred; Airport Airside Driving experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
