As aFleet Logistics VehicleTransporter Driver, you'lloperate a 26-tonne multi-vehicletransporter, collectingand delivering vehiclesbetween workshops, operationalsites, dealerships, accidentrepair centres, third-party garages, and other locations.
Alongside vehicle transportation, you'll play animportant part inthe day-to-day running ofthe fleet byhelping maintain vehiclepresentation standardsand supporting generalworkshop and sitehousekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a26-tonne multi-vehicle transporter.
- Providing operational support to a public authority
- Load, secure andtransport up tosix vehiclesin line withcurrent legislation andbest practice.
- Plan routes effectively, adapting to traffic, road closures, weatherconditions and changingoperational requirements.
- Carry out dynamicrisk assessments andidentify safe alternativeroutes when required.
- Deliver and collectvehicles from workshops,dealerships, repair centresand operational sites.
- Carry out discreetvehicle movements whennecessary.
- Clean and valetfleet vehicles tomaintain high presentationstandards.
- Assist with workshopand yard housekeeping, ensuring aclean, safe andorganised working environment.
- Manage site consumables, including oils, lubricantsand screen wash, ensuringcompliance with COSHHand Health & Safetyregulations.
- Build positive workingrelationships with colleagues, suppliers and externalpartners.
- Provide driving supportfor senior managementwhen required.
- Undertake additional dutiesappropriate to theroleto support operationalneeds.
About You

You'll have:
- A valid ClassC (Category C) HGV licence.
- Excellent driving skillswith a strongcommitment to safetyand compliance.
- Experience loading, securingand transporting vehicles, with an understandingof correct axleweight distribution.
- Strong planning, organisationaland problem-solvingskills.
- The ability towork independentlyand adapt tochanging priorities.
- Excellent communicationand customer serviceskills.
- A proactive approachto maintaining highstandards of vehiclepresentation and workplacecleanliness.
- Flexibility to workoccasional evenings andweekends when operationalrequirements demand.
