As an HGV Driver, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods.

• Dayshifts starting circa 9.30 AM.
• 42 hours guaranteed, with overtime paid at time and a half.

Job Opportunity

As an HGV Class 2 Driver at Whistl, you will:

• Operate and maintain your HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Essential Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A valid HGV licence.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents and no more than 3 points on your licence.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including heavy lifting and long hours on the road.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
