Job summary

Frontline Recruitment National is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for 1-drop trunking work based in St Helens, Merseyside. Day and night shifts are available, with straightforward trunking and no multi-drop deliveries.

We welcome drivers with a valid UK Class 1 licence and Digital Tachograph Card who are reliable and punctual, with trunking experience considered an advantage. All work is based in St Helens.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Able to work independently.
• Experience with trunking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E trunking routes.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.
• Complete relevant transport paperwork.
• Follow drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Cooperate with transport and depot teams.
