Aligra Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for night shifts in Burgess Hill. You will operate safely on scheduled night routes, manage loading and documentation, and coordinate with dispatch to keep goods moving between regional hubs.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, at least 1 year in heavy goods driving, and strong organisational and communication skills to handle late-night schedules.

Qualificações

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely on scheduled night routes.
• Follow routing to ensure timely parcel delivery between hubs.
• Load, secure and occasionally unload freight including pallets and containers.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report defects.
• Process shipment paperwork and scan consignments with dispatch teams.
• Adhere to road safety rules and company policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently on scheduled night-time routes

• Manage loading, securing, and occasional unloading of freight including pallets, cages, and containers
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and complete defect reports as required
• Handle shipment paperwork, scan consignments accurately, and maintain communication with dispatch teams
• Adhere to all relevant road safety and company policies to ensure compliance and safety
