Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd’s Driving Team are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to support a long-standing customer based in Highbridge. Immediate starts are available for reliable drivers seeking ongoing tramping work with a well-established UK transport business.

Role includes Monday to Friday tramping and nationwide general haulage with trunking and long-distance runs. Typical starts around 06:00, with 10-hour shifts, and ongoing assignments with long-term driver retention.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Category C+E Licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (12 months preferred).
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to tramp Monday to Friday.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform Monday to Friday tramping work across nationwide general haulage.
• Carry out trunking and long-distance deliveries while staying with the vehicle most of the week.
• Return home for weekends and maintain consistency on the contract.
