Job description

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Location: Shepton Mallet, Somerset

Employment Type: Temporary or Temp to Perm

Working Hours: Monday to Friday days, with 1 or 2 nights out per week

Salary: GBP 17.00 per hour excluding holiday pay, plus GBP 25 per night out

MDE Group UK LTD is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our client's established team based in the Shepton Mallet area for immediate assessment and start.

Job Description:

• Class 1 chilled/ambient work with a varying number of drops per day, up to 5 per shift
• 1-2 nights out per week, typically on Wednesdays

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of tachograph use and working time regulations
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report issues immediately
• Good customer service skills

Qualifications:

• UK HGV Class 1 Licence with at least 1 year of experience preferred
• No more than 6 points on your license, with no major endorsements (DD, DG, DR, IN, TT, CD, UT)
• Valid tachograph and CPC certification
