LME Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our busy logistics team in Ipswich. You will transport goods nationwide, perform pre- and post-trip checks, and coordinate with the transport office for routes and delivery schedules.

This permanent role offers a competitive pay structure with base rate of £14.50 per hour for up to 55 hours a week, overtime at £17.50, and daily allowances. Benefits include annual leave and ongoing training opportunities.

Formación

• Valid HGV Class 1 entitlement and CPC.
• Proven track record with long-haul/trunking.
• Ability to complete accurate paperwork.

Responsabilidades

• Transport goods nationwide.
• Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Coordinate with the transport office for route planning and delivery schedules.
• Keep accurate logbooks, delivery records, and paperwork.
• Secure loads and ensure cargo safety.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a safety-first attitude.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery point.
• Look after your vehicle, both inside and out.

Payment Details Rate

BASIC Based on up to 55 hours per week (11 Hrs a day) £14.50 per hour

OVERTIME RATE 11+ M-F

11+ Hours Mon-Fri £17.50 per hour

NIGHT OUT ALLOWANCE

TAX Free £26.20 per night

MEAL ALLOWANCE

TAX free £10.00 per day

OVERTIME RATE

Twins/Splitter Trailer £20.00 per Occasion

HAZ STANDARD- Day rate
