Job summary

Millison Chase Limited is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for ongoing general haulage and Amazon distribution work across the UK.

This is a Monday to Friday tramping role with drivers staying away in the vehicle; shift lengths typically 10–12 hours. Modern articulated tractors and trailers are used, with regular weekly pay and night-out payments where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for ongoing General Haulage and Amazon Distribution work.
• Regular, long-distance work operating modern articulated vehicles across the UK.
• Transport palletised freight, retail goods and general haulage loads between Amazon Fulfilment Centres, RDCs, NDCs, warehouses and commercial sites.
• Monday to Friday tramping role; drivers stay away in the vehicle throughout the week.
• Shift lengths are 10 to 12 hours; work planned with Driver's Hours Regulations and UK transport legislation.

Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for ongoing General Haulage and Amazon Distribution work with one of our established national logistics clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers looking for regular, long-distance work operating modern articulated vehicles across the UK. The role involves transporting palletised freight, retail goods and general haulage loads between Amazon Fulfilment Centres, Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs), National Distribution Centres (NDCs), warehouses and commercial sites.

Drivers can expect a mixture of 1 to 5 deliveries or collections per day, depending on the route. Most loads are forklift loaded and unloaded, with no handball required. Vehicles are modern, well-maintained articulated tractor units with curtain-sided and box trailers.

This is a Monday to Friday tramping role, with drivers staying away in the vehicle throughout the working week. Shift lengths are generally 10 to 12 hours, with all work planned in accordance with Driver's Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive, and current UK transport legislation.

This is an ongoing PAYE opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, night-out payments, weekly pay and long-term career prospects.
