Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced LGV C+E driver for collections on behalf of a major retailer. Role involves pre-planned loading/collections with full loads at collection/delivery points; trailer coupling/uncoupling only and no manual handling of loads.

Hours are Sunday to Friday with a typical start Sunday 16:00, back by 08:00 Friday, averaging 56 hours per week. Night outs 4/5 nights per week are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a current LGV C+E Licence.
• Must have a current Driver CPC.
• Must have a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Only minor points for speeding or minor traffic violations.

Responsibilities

• Make collections on behalf of a major retailer.

• Trailer coupling and uncoupling only.
• Night Out 4/5 Nights a week.
• Work will be on POA due to pre planned loading or collections.

Job description

The Role - Basics:

You will be making collections on behalf of one of the worlds Major retailers, no manual handling of the load will be undertaken, most of the working week will be on POA due to pre planned loading or collections, at the collection or delivery location these will be full loads, trailer coupling and uncoupling only..

Sunday to Friday Tramping usual start time on a Sunday 16:00 back by 08:00 Friday Average 56 hours per week Duty

The Role Requirements:

• Previous expereince is not essential, new pass drivers are welcome to apply
• Must have a current LGV C+E Licence
• Must have a current Driver CPC
• Must have a Digital Tachograph Card
• Only minor points for speeding or minor traffic violations
• Must be willing to undertake a criminal record check and regular Drug & Alcohol testing prior to commencing and be able to Night Out 4/5 Nights a week
