Job summary

A leading transport company in Neath is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tipper Driver for an immediate start. The role involves the collection of materials such as metal and stone, ensuring compliance with regulations and excellent customer service. Requirements include a valid UK HGV Class 1 Licence, experience with tipper vehicles, and excellent knowledge of tachograph usage. This is a temp position with shifts starting at 0600.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience with HGV Class 1 required.
• Max 6 points on driving license with no major endorsements.
• Previous tipper or walking floor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Mainly collections of metal, PVC, and stone.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with working time regulations.

Location: Neath, Swansea

Employment Type: Temp, ongoing

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0600 starts average 9-10hr shifts

Salary: GBP16-GBP17.93ph

Mainly collections of metal (non ADR), PVC and stone.

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of tacho use and working time

Daily vehicle checks ensuring any issues are reported immediately

Good customer service

Qualifications

UK HGV Class 1 Licence with 1 year min experience required

Max 6 points with no major endorsements (DD/DG/DR/IN/TT/CD/UT)

Previous tipper or walking floor experience required.

Valid Tacho

Valid CPC
