Job summary

A well-established company near Chester is seeking an experienced Class 1 Tipper Driver for a temp-perm position. The role involves carrying out vehicle checks, ensuring timely deliveries, and monitoring vehicle conditions. Candidates must have full CPC, HGV class 1, and at least 2 years driving experience. Weekday shifts with potential for overtime are available.

Qualifications

• Must have full CPC and Digi-tacho.
• 2 years Class 1 Driving experience.
• Less than 6 points on license (No IN, DR, or DD endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre and after-use vehicle checks.
• Ensure timely customer deliveries in line with company procedure.
• Monitor and report vehicle defects.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Carry out pre and after-use of vehicle checks in line with the company policy
• Ensure that all customer deliveries are made on time and in line with company procedure
• Monitor and report any vehicle defects and wear and tear
• Complete all paperwork accurately and on time

Requirements / Highly Desirable

• Must have full CPC
• Digi-tacho
• HGV class 1– category C+E on the back of your license
• Willingness to help
• Handballing involved
• Less than 6 points on your license (No IN, DR, or DD endorsements)
• 2 years Class 1 Driving experience
