Qualifications

Job description

Hours of work: 6pm-6am

4 out of 7 days

• Overtime opportunities available
• Fully funded CPC training hours provided
• Work outdoors, including in hours of darkness and adverse weather conditions
• Role can be physically demanding, requiring frequent getting in and out of a cab during shifts
• Flexibility in attitude and ability to work varying shift patterns and hours, including short notice, is essential

Role Purpose:

The primary responsibility is to ensure suitable vehicles are available for loads in the required time, location, and conditions to meet all legal, safety, and customer requirements, while adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Additional duties may include undertaking IDTs or Class 1 responsibilities, such as responsible delivery of stock to independent retailers’ stores.

Requirements:

• Class 1 Licence Holder
• Driver CPC Holder
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries; temperature-controlled food delivery experience is preferred but not essential
• Flexibility in work and hours, including short notice, as routes vary daily
