Relief Driver - Harlow

Our client was a pioneer within the UK construction materials industry in the late 1990s, constructing the UK's first dry mortar plant. Today, it is the only national dry mortar producer operating across nine manufacturing plants, supplying dry mortars, renders, plasters, and concretes used by major UK construction companies in housing, industrial, educational, and infrastructure projects. The company also operates a state-of-the-art bagging facility supplying bagged ready-to-use concrete, mortar, and fence post mixes to the merchant and contractor markets.

This support driving position is created to maintain fleet operations during staff holidays or absences. While based in Harlow, the role requires flexibility to cover driving duties at any of the other eight UK locations.

When not driving, the role includes various duties within factory operations, which will vary according to daily needs. All reasonable travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the company when working away from Harlow, including mileage allowances for private vehicle use.

Note: THIS IS NOT A TRAMPING POSITION. When working away, you will stay in hotels chosen by the company.

Requirements

• A valid Class C+E HGV license and Driver Qualification Card.
• Own transport.
• All other training will be provided.
