Job summary

Freight Force Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver for night trunking from Rushden, NN10. You will operate a Class 1 vehicle, complete deliveries on time, and conduct daily vehicle checks while maintaining accurate paperwork.

The role offers Monday–Friday shifts starting at 16:00, with a guaranteed 50 hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package after probation. Adequate insurance and license requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience within the UK.
• Aged 25 years or over (insurance requirement).
• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 3 penalty points.
• Comfortable with manual handling duties as required.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team based in Rushden, NN10. This role involves night trunking to RDC's.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Class 1 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining delivery paperwork and PODs
• Adhering to driver hours, WTD and road transport legislation
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all delivery points

Driver Requirements

• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience within the UK
• Aged 25 years or over (insurance requirement)
• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 3 penalty points
• No major endorsements (DD, DR, IN etc.)
• Comfortable with manual handling duties as and where required
• Strong reliability and time management skills
