Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing night work in Coventry. The role focuses on trunking between distribution sites with night, late and overnight shifts and weekly pay.

All rates shown are PAYE, with night rates up to £24.57 per hour. Successful applicants will have a valid Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph card, and meet safety and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to pass vetting and DBS checks.
• Reliable, safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled Class 1 trunking runs between distribution sites.
• Concentrate on driving with minimal handling requirements.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow transport schedules.
• Comply with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.

NIGHT & LATE SHIFTS | ONGOING WORK | WEEKLY PAY

Interaction Recruitment is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing night driving opportunities in Coventry.

We're recruiting drivers for a busy distribution operation offering planned trunking routes, competitive hourly rates and a choice of evening, late and overnight shifts.

Excellent Night Rates

• Night shifts - £24.57 per hour
• Late shifts - £23.09 per hour
• Evening shifts - £22.22 per hour

All rates are PAYE and depend on the shift worked.

Your Role

You’ll be responsible for completing scheduled Class 1 trunking runs between distribution sites.

This is predominantly driving-focused work, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best - driving.

You’ll carry out daily vehicle checks, follow transport schedules and comply with all drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
