Job summary

Culina is hiring permanent full-time HGV drivers in Wakefield. Start times are 17:00–19:00 for night shifts (Fri–Mon) with additional pattern options (Thu–Sun nights). Earn up to £18.65 per hour, with rates listed for Mon–Fri, Saturday and Sunday nights and bank holidays.

You will handle general haulage, deliveries to RDCs and stores, and complete checks and paperwork. Applicants should hold a valid C+E licence, ideally 6 months of Class 1 experience, no more than 6 points, and DCPC & Tacho

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence and ideally 6 months HGV Class 1 experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence and valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Ability to understand and comply with driver hours and WTD legislation.

Responsibilities

• General haulage and distribution work.
• Delivering to RDCs, retail stores and customer sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Ensure full compliance with driver hours and transport legislation.
• Maintain safe and professional conduct at all times.

What You'll Be Doing

• General haulage and distribution work
• Delivering to RDCs, retail stores, and customer sites
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring full compliance with driver hours and transport legislation
• Always working safely and professionally

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Nights: £16.35 per hour
• Saturday Nights: £18.65 per hour
• Sunday Nights: £18.65 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £18.96 per hour

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points
• No DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
