Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Runcorn area for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers. You will perform trunk runs to the hub and support night-time operations.

We offer PAYE rates of £17.50 per hour (6am-10pm) and £18.25 per hour (10pm-6am). The role is ad-hoc/ temp/ ongoing with shifts across nights. Full UK licence with C&E, DCPC and Tachograph cards required, along with 6 months experience and clean licence (max 6 points).

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement.
• DCPC card and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to undertake driving assessment.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Runcorn area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on nights.

Shifts

Operation runs across Monday to Sunday.

Start Times

Nights.

Pay Rate

• £17.50 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
• £18.25 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)

Location

Runcorn.

The role

• Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
