Job summary

GXO Greenford is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support our transport team. The role is full-time and permanent, with a 45 hour week and a Sunday to Thursday shift starting at 23:00. You will trunk and deliver, perform safety checks, and ensure paperwork is completed in line with company procedures.

Benefits include a £17.74 hourly rate plus a monthly night shift premium of £332, 20 days leave, a company pension and access to our Happi App and online learning platform.

Qualifications

• Experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking and store delivery routes safely.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Accurately complete all paperwork and comply with procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service representing GXO and Micheldever.
• Adhere to transport legislation, driver hours and working time regulations.

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new adventure? Want to hit the road with a company that's all about making life better and making every journey worthwhile? Here at GXO Greenford, we are looking for HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team, supporting our customer, Micheldever. You'll be part of a dedicated team that works together to keep operations moving and deliver excellent service every day. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, contracted to 45 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for a Sunday to Thursday shift pattern, with a start time of 23:00.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
