Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics in Eastleigh is seeking professional HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join a growing team. The role focuses on safe, efficient deliveries and maintaining Kinaxia’s high service standards at night.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence required.
• Current Driver CPC / DQC card.
• Digital Tachograph card valid and up-to-date.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with double-deck trailers is desirable.
• Experience with container work on docks is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Arrive on time and report issues to Traffic Office promptly.
• Adhere to all policies, customer requirements and Highway Code.
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
• Complete all scheduled deliveries and collections accurately.
• Comply with tachograph and Working Time Regulations.
• Keep vehicle clean, presentable and well-maintained.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing Kinaxia.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive efficient and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe, roadworthy and compliant
• Arrive at jobs on time and communicate any issues promptly with the Traffic Office
• Adhere to all company policies, customer requirements and Highway Code regulations
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
• Complete all scheduled deliveries and collections accurately
• Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
• Keep your vehicle clean, presentable and well-maintained
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the Kinaxia brand

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
• A current Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience operating double-deck trailers
• Experience with container work (docks-compliant drivers are highly desirable)
