HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted – PAYE & Ltd Drivers Welcome!

Location: Burton-on-Trent (DE14)
Shifts Available: Days, Nights & Tramping – Monday through Sunday

Are you an HGV Class 1 driver with solid experience and a knack for handling curtain siders like a pro? Do you enjoy the open road, a reliable schedule, and getting the job done with minimal fuss (and maximum tea breaks)? Then we want to hear from you.

We’re currently recruiting experienced Class 1 drivers on behalf of our established client based in Burton-on-Trent, DE14, and there’s plenty of work to go around – whether you're a day shift early bird, a night owl, or prefer the tramping lifestyle.

This is general haulage work, using curtain-sided vehicles to deliver to a mix of businesses, retail stores, and construction sites. It’s a straightforward job, but we do like drivers who bring professionalism, punctuality, and can back into a tight bay without a drama.

What’s on Offer:

Day Work:

Ltd/Umbrella: £19.50–£23.50per hour
PAYE: £15.50–£19.00 per hour
Night Work:

Ltd/Umbrella: £21.50–£24.50 per hour
PAYE: £17.00–£20.00per hour
Who We’re Looking For:

You must have at least 2 years of recent Class 1 experience – this isn’t a learning-on-the-job kind of gig.
Clean licence preferred, but we can accept up to 6 points for minor driving convictions. No major endorsements, please – we like our paperwork light.
A professional attitude, reliability, and a sense of humour – because sometimes, the M1 doesn’t play nice.
