Job description

Class 1 Drivers

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Hours: Day/Night Shifts Monday to Friday (typically 0800/1900 starts, may vary) Tramping and weekend work available

Pay: GBP15.5ph days to GBP20.45 nights/weekends, plus rolled up holidays available by the hour

Contract Type: Temp/Ongoing

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day /Night and Tramper Drivers to join our clients growing logistics team. This role is ideal for drivers with a good background in tramping and multidrop who are happy to unload using a pump truck where required or double deck trailers on Nights.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled trunking routes between depots and distribution centres on Nights or Multidrop Pallet Network work on days

Conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.

Complete all relevant paperwork and logbooks accurately.

Adhere to all DVSA regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.

Minimum 6 months experience.

Max 6 points for minor offences

Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card.

Excellent knowledge of UK driving regulations and hours.

A safety-first mindset and reliable work ethic.

Ability to work independently during night hours.
