Rayden Engineering Ltd is a Mechanical & Civil Engineering Company, based in the East Midlands of England; and specialising in the pre-fabrication, welding and installation of pipework systems of a wide variety of alloys. We are also involved in the installation of: Cross-country Pipelines and Pipeline Diversions (up to 30) and Above Ground Installations (AGIs). We are currently executing major contracts nationwide for major oil & gas companies that include AGIs, pipelines and major civil works. Our continued success and growth over the past number of years requires to expand our team and we are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 driver.

This is a full-time position delivering materials, machinery and equipment nationwide for a successful family-owned business.

We are looking for self-motivated and flexible individuals who can demonstrate a positive and helpful approach to our customers, who are able to work on their own initiative, but be part of our growing team.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• A Class 1 HGV driving licence (ideally clean) with Driver Qualification Card/Driver CPC.
• Zero endorsements preferred; any endorsements must be stated at application stage.
• Demonstrate experience and hold a current accredited certificate in the safe operation of Lorry Mounted Loaders (including remote).
• Forklift Truck licence required.
• Experience in construction and plant industry.
• Ensure loads are loaded, secured and delivered safely.
• Work on own initiative.
• Flexibility to fast moving business as the position also involves occasional nights out.
• Comply with Health and Safety legislation.
• Ensure their vehicle is roadworthy and daily vehicle walk rounds have been completed and recorded.
