Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established transport operation. The role offers consistent Monday-to-Friday work, depot-to-depot trunking on regional and national routes, with loading/unloading carried out by forklift.

You will drive curtain-sided trailers, follow RTWTR regulations, expect roughly 55 hours per week, and avail a temporary contract with pay at £18.50 per hour and regular weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with CE (Class 1) entitlement
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor motoring offences
• No DR, DD, IN, CU or MS convictions

Responsibilities

• Transport loads safely between depots on regional or national routes
• Operate curtain-sided trailers and forklift for loading/unloading
• Work Monday–Friday with ~55 hours per week
• Adhere to RTWTR regulations and depot procedures
