Job summary

Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to support ongoing trunking and retail deliveries in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is weekday, ongoing work with afternoon starts and modern vehicles for long-term career prospects.

Pay rates include £19.25 per hour PAYE, £21.57 per hour with rolled-up holiday pay; Optional Saturday shifts at £21.00 PAYE or £23.53 with rolled-up holiday pay. Afternoon starts between 12:00 and 16:00, average shifts around 10 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete Class 1 trunking runs.
• Strap and secure loads correctly.
• Perform vehicle and load safety checks.
• Ensure trailers and loads are properly contained before departure.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow delivery schedules and transport procedures.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Maintain high standards of road safety and professionalism.
